This party is held in the first two weeks of August. It is the celebration which attracts the greatest number of public. It was first held 30 years ago. The young people of the town get water from the aqueduct and engage in a gigantic water fight continuously filling up their buckets and throwing water over each other. This celebration is hugely popular amongst visitors and over the years has become one of the biggest summer attractions of the island.
