San Francisco Square

Description

A distinguished corner of typical Canarian architecture, this square is in the shape of a quadrangle, with a small fountain in the middle. One feature, which stands out, is a square building with a four-tiered roof which houses sculptures representing the passion and death of Christ, which is why it is called the Stations of the Cross. On its façade we can notice hollow carvings in the stone that in the past have served as offering bowls.
